Board approves $97,500 mapping system for county appraiser
County Appraiser DeLinda White recommended the SAMS Survey Mapping System and the Board unanimously approved a motion to purchase it at an initial cost of $97,500, with part of the payment from the current-year budget and the remainder from the 2025 budget.

County Appraiser DeLinda White told the Board that adopting the SAMS Survey Mapping System would allow county staff and residents with logins to access mapping tools; she said part of the cost could be paid from the current budget and the remainder from 2025. Commissioner Cory Moates moved to approve the Appraiser's office to adopt the SAMS system at an initial rate of $97,500.00; Commissioner Lorie Johnson seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
