County Appraiser DeLinda White told the Board that adopting the SAMS Survey Mapping System would allow county staff and residents with logins to access mapping tools; she said part of the cost could be paid from the current budget and the remainder from 2025. Commissioner Cory Moates moved to approve the Appraiser's office to adopt the SAMS system at an initial rate of $97,500.00; Commissioner Lorie Johnson seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
White said the system could be up and running by the end of November if the county proceeds. The Board recorded no amendments to the motion; the purchase was approved as presented.
