Committee approves HR staffing changes, tuition reimbursement and a $22,945 EAP contract

The Human Resource Committee approved multiple personnel and service items proposed by Human Resources. The committee approved creating one Human Resource Assistant I (1.00 FTE; Grade MC 9; $23.03–$26.69/hr.) to replace a promoted HR Assistant II; the HR Assistant II position (position code 028.579) was abolished effective May 13, 2025. Funds for the new position were specified as coming from the vacated HR Asst. II salary line. The motions to create and abolish the positions were recorded as carried and referred to Finance where applicable.
