Allen County commissioners reject broad All In Allen comprehensive plan updates
Commissioners voted 3-0 to reject a package of proposed changes to the county's All In Allen comprehensive plan after expressing concerns about the scope of changes and limited resident engagement.

Commissioners Ronald W. Turpin and Therese M. Brown led the board in rejecting proposed amendments to the All In Allen comprehensive plan on Feb. 27, 2026. Planner David Schaab presented the two docketed items (COMP-2026-0003 and COMP-2026-0004), which he said were developed following stakeholder meetings and are intended to guide county growth over the next 20 years.
