Board approves hire of Curtis Swartz as Utility/Operator 1 at $16 per hour
The Cherokee County Board unanimously approved the hire of Curtis Swartz as a Utility/Operator 1 at $16 per hour, effective Sept. 23, 2024. The motion was made by Commissioner Myra Frazier and seconded by Vice-Chair Lorie Johnson.

During the Sept. 23, 2024 meeting, Road and Bridge Supervisor Cody Zook presented a Notice of New Employee and the board voted to hire Curtis Swartz as Utility/Operator 1.
