Ward County Water Resource Board reviewed a revised 2027 budget and approved opening and renewing three short-term certificates of deposit totaling $525,000 to earn higher interest while holding funds for projects.

Vice Chair Jason Zimmerman and Secretary/Treasurer Sarah Walker presented a revised 2027 budget and reminded the board of a previously approved request for $600,000 in funding. The board voted on routine financial business, including opening a six-month certificate of deposit (CD) and renewing two Edward Jones CDs.
