The Calumet County Board elected its leadership by secret ballot during the April 21 organizational meeting. Supervisor Connors was elected Chair after multiple rounds of secret nominating ballots that began with nominations of Connors and Stuckmann. The vice-chair election concluded with Supervisor Budde receiving a majority; Supervisor Schwalenberg was later declared 2nd Vice-Chair after other nominees withdrew.
