Commissioner Chad Scheinoha presented a draft resolution to designate April 20–24, 2026 as 'Work Zone Safety Awareness Week' in Calumet County. Supervisor Joseph Mueller moved to forward the resolution to the Calumet County Board for discussion and action at the County Board meeting on April 14, 2026; Supervisor Kathleen Thunes seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
