County engineer reports overweight-permit exceptions filed, grant application and equipment updates
County Engineer Ryne Thornburg told the board the state's Annual All Systems Overweight Permit took effect July 1 and he filed exception requests for three county roadways; he also updated the board on a SS4A grant application, the Stockport motorgrader return to service, work on Route W46, and bridge pile replacement planning.

County Engineer Ryne Thornburg briefed the board on multiple secondary-roads matters. He said the state's Annual All Systems Overweight Permit became active July 1, 2025, and that he filed requests for exceptions on three county roadways: Route V64 (from Route J40 to Eagle Drive on the south side of Leando), Bridge Street in Selma, and Hawk Drive south out of Farmington.
