The Stephens County Board of Commissioners approved entering into an automatic and mutual aid agreement with Franklin County for fire protection services covering a shared border area. Staff said the agreement allows Franklin County stations to automatically respond in the overlap area and noted reciprocal benefits for Franklin County related to insurance premiums.
