Staff informed the commission that the town had received an application from Remington Ranch to de‑annex approximately 160 acres west of Chatfield Corners. Staff noted the property was annexed in 2007 with an entitlement of 109 units and said the applicant is pursuing de‑annexation because they do not believe the 109‑unit configuration is viable; the matter will proceed to town council and may appear for council consideration in July, conditional on de‑annexation steps.
