Clerk recommends Tom's Moving again for voting-machine transport
Daviess County Clerk Lauren Milton told commissioners that voting machines have increased in size and required a hired mover since 2024; the board unanimously approved Tom's Moving Service invoice and the Clerk's recommendation to use the company again this year.

Daviess County Clerk Lauren Milton told the County Commissioners on March 24 that the county's voting machines became too large to be handled by staff in 2024 and that the Clerk's Office has since engaged a moving company to transport them. "The voting machines used to be small enough for her to be able to carry but in 2024 they had to hire a company to move them due to becoming bigger and heavier," Milton said during the meeting.
