Daviess County approves 2027 Community Corrections grant application
The Daviess County Commissioners unanimously approved submission of the county's 2027 Community Corrections grant application. Community Corrections Director Laura Petty said the grant is split into county supervision and work-release components and the county kept its requested amount unchanged despite statewide cuts.

The Daviess County Commissioners on March 24, 2026, voted unanimously to approve submission of the county's 2027 Community Corrections grant application. Laura Petty, Daviess County Community Corrections Director, told the board the application mirrors prior years and that Community Corrections applies for Department of Corrections funding annually.
