The Delaware County BZA approved a variance allowing Evan Jackson to operate a race-engine machine shop and conduct periodic dyno testing at 9690 North County Road 500 West, subject to conditions designed to limit neighborhood impacts. Applicant Evan Jackson told the board testing occurs at most once a week and said he is working on noise-reduction measures; the motion included a restriction that dyno testing be limited to 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and that test events not exceed roughly 10–15 minutes.
