Council advances ENR upgrade design and authorizes separate RFP for bar/filter screen
The council accepted a GMB agreement to design and bid the Trappe wastewater plant’s ENR upgrade and voted to put that phase out to bid with a stricter schedule; it also authorized an RFP to replace the bar/filter screen now rather than wait for grant-funded work.

Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan told the council that GMB submitted an agreement for engineering design and bidding services for the Trappe Wastewater Treatment Plant ENR (Effluent Nutrient Reduction) upgrade, including producing bid documents, meeting with contractors and recommending next steps to the Council.
