Bernie Sorenson provided several routine committee updates at the Feb. 18 meeting. Items included a LEPC roster review; confirmation that the 2025 HMEP grant (for trainings) had been approved; a 2025 CN commodity flow request; and an upcoming multi-jurisdictional public alerting tabletop exercise with Land O’ Lakes planned for April 2026. Sorenson also reminded members that two-year terms on the LEPC end on 04/20/2026 and that members wishing to continue must submit a paper or online application.
