Board approves Bond County Transit resolution, routine reports and event permits

The Bond County Board approved Bond County Transit Resolution 03-19-26-03 by a 4-0 roll call vote after a motion by Commissioner Wes Pourchot and a second by Commissioner Jacob Rayl.
The board also approved the Sheriff's, Coroner's and Animal Control reports for February 2026 and granted two event requests to use the courthouse lawn: Patrice White's National Day of Prayer on May 7, 2026 at 12:00 p.m., and Allison Cruthis' Bond County Farmers' Market dates on June 6, August 1, September 5 and October 3, 2026 (7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.). Each item passed on recorded 4-0 votes.
Additionally, the board announced openings on the Greenville Fire Protection District Board of Trustees (with Larry Suess and Jeff Gray recommended for reappointment) and an opening on the Greenville Airport Authority Board of Trustees with Dan Jackson recommended for reappointment. These were announced during the meeting record and recommended for board action where appropriate.
The approvals reflect routine county business recorded on the March 19 agenda and allow the county to proceed with transit planning, routine reporting, and event permitting for the spring and summer season.
