Peekskill climate action plan presented; council to consider resolution in September
A Peak Scale/SEAP team presented a Climate Action Plan based on a 2019 municipal GHG inventory (~2,800 metric tons CO2) that maps mitigation strategies across fleet, buildings, commute and waste and estimates the plan can reach near the 2030 target if implemented; council signaled support and asked staff to return with a resolution in September.
