The Common Council unanimously approved Resolution J6 accepting a $50,000 engineering planning grant from the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation for a sewer system-extension study at Fleishman Pier. Councilmember (speaker 4) explained that staff issued a request for qualifications, reviewed proposals and recommended a firm; the resolution authorizes the city manager to enter an agreement with the selected consultant (transcript spelling varies for the firm name).
