The Common Council held a HUD-required public hearing on the City of Peekskill’s Section 8 annual plan for 2025 and related administrative revisions, including implementation of HUD’s NSPIRE inspection standards. Jessica Ganz, director of the City’s Section 8 program, told the council the program will adopt NSPIRE definitions and timelines and revise the administrative plan to cover eligibility, reexaminations and the PHA’s service area.
