Commissioners clear routine claims, collection report and several budget transfers

The court approved claims for 02/13/2025 with an EFT of $328,609.70 and regular claims of $1,348,022.89 for a total of $1,676,632.59; Commissioner Hogg moved the approval and Commissioner Leacotte seconded. Tax Assessor‑Collector Kristin Hoyt presented the January 2025 monthly collection report and the court approved it. The court also approved an affidavit certifying a 2024 Texans Feeding Texans home‑delivered meals grant payment (previously authorized by resolution) and several line‑item transfers including dues for the South Texas Judges and Commissioners Association and increased funds to cover higher‑cost computer replacements for Court at Law No. 3.
Commissioners approved each item by motion. The meeting record does not show roll‑call tallies for these routine approvals; staff will implement the transfers and process payments through the auditor's office.
