County administrator Nathan told commissioners preliminary talks are under way about pursuing a housing study using potential MSHDA grant funding, and flagged a museum infrastructure grant (electrical and ADA upgrades) for which he will write a letter of support.

County administrator Nathan updated the board on exploratory work around a potential countywide housing study and a museum grant. "There's some grant dollars potentially out there," Nathan said, describing preliminary discussions with village managers and a grant writer about whether an MSHDA grant could support a study to assess housing stock and needs in Sanilac County.
