River Ridge board approves special-assessment resolution with edits

Tony Pires, District Counsel, recommended opening the public hearing on Resolution 2024-08, which would make a determination of benefit and impose special assessments for fiscal year 2024/2025. Mrs. Cleo Adams opened the hearing; "No affected property owners or members of the public spoke." The board approved a change to delete references to "Exhibit B" on Page 2 and throughout, and adopted the resolution as amended on a motion by Mr. Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Robert Twombly.
The resolution also includes standard clauses for assessment collection and enforcement, certification of an assessment roll, severability, and an effective date as recorded in the adopted document. Staff noted the edits on the record and the board voted to adopt the amended resolution.
