Council member Sara Hamilton introduced an ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances' public hearing requirements; the council suspended the statutory two-meeting rule and approved the ordinance on final passage with unanimous roll-call votes. Ordinance No. 674 was recorded as adopted on Sept. 11, 2025.
