The motion directed the Superintendent to update Board policies and administrative procedures to ensure compliance with the Michigan Open Meetings Act and to continue holding meetings at a publicly accessible physical location. The Board authorized spending $5,896.56 to Simoni Systems Inc. for equipment and services and an amount not to exceed $1,000 for ancillary costs. The motion carried 4-2; Allison Brady and President Marcia Kendall voted Nay. The Superintendent will report back to the Board on implementation and recommend any additional procedures or equipment needed to maintain reliable livestream access.
