Lorain County OKs MARCS agreement to define radio system responsibilities with state
The board authorized Resolution No. 26-84 to execute an agreement with the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (OIT) for MARCS, defining construction, equipment funding, ownership and maintenance responsibilities for county-built radio towers and equipment; adoption contingent on legal review by the county prosecutor.

Lorain County commissioners on Jan. 30 approved an agreement framework with the Ohio Department of Administrative Services Office of Information Technology to participate in the MARCS (Multi-Agency Radio Communications System) statewide radio network.
