Jackson County adopts FY26-27 appropriations and routine fiscal resolutions
At its June 30 meeting the board approved a package of start-of-fiscal-year resolutions, including Resolution 1194 (appropriations by department), bank depository designations, authorization of routine warrants, and interfund transfer authority for FY26-27.

Auditor Lisa Smith presented the board with year-start business and a series of routine fiscal resolutions for fiscal year 2026-27. The board approved minutes from June 23 and then adopted Resolution 1194-06-30-2026 setting departmental appropriations for FY26-27, along with multiple companion resolutions designating bank depositories, allowing the auditor to issue certain routine warrants (as amended to include Drug Free Coalition grant expenses), and authorizing interfund operating transfers to the secondary roads fund.
