Committee approves 57th Duquette Moose Run Enduro; Straight Arrow reports on trail reconstruction plans
Douglas County approved use of county forest land for the 57th Duquette Moose Run Enduro (Aug. 29–30, 2026). Straight Arrow Enduro Riders reported plans to reestablish a trail section across recently logged land and discussed crossing Balsam Creek; the club noted 2026 is the 18th year of officially approved trails on county forest land.

The Forest, Parks & Recreation Committee on Feb. 23 approved a request from Straight Arrow Enduro Riders to use a small portion of Douglas County Forest land for the 57th Annual Duquette Moose Run Enduro on Aug. 29–30, 2026. The meeting packet indicated that general liability insurance coverage was provided for the event.
