The Forest, Parks & Recreation Committee on Feb. 23 approved a request from the Gordon Wascott Historical Society to hold a bicycle fundraiser that will use about three miles of county forest land on June 13, 2026. The meeting packet included a race route and stated that event proceeds will go to the Gordon Wascott Historical Society; concessions proceeds will be donated to Gordon/Wascott Emergency Medical Services.
