The Board of Comanche County Commissioners voted unanimously March 30 to proclaim a seven-day burn ban, saying "an extreme fire danger exists in Comanche County." Commissioner Josh Powers moved the resolution and Commissioner Ryan John seconded; Powers, John and Chairman Johnny Owens voted aye.
