Hanover DSS flags upcoming work requirements for some benefit programs, including Medicaid in 2027
Staff told the advisory board that SNAP already has a work requirement, Medicaid will add a work requirement beginning Jan. 1, 2027, and TANF/VIEW requires 30 hours weekly; notifications on changes from the "Big Beautiful Bill" will be issued.
