County selects Smith Insurance for health plan, accepts Principal life coverage
After reviewing RFP responses from multiple brokers, the board voted to place county health coverage with Smith Insurance (annual fee recorded at $19,248), accepted $25,000 group life coverage through Principal, and changed the county's agent of record to Smith Insurance. All actions passed 2–0.
