The Blackford County Board of Commissioners voted 3–0 on Nov. 3 to adopt Resolution #2025‑R10, barring permitting or construction of data centers within the county until the board establishes an ordinance to govern them. Commissioner Laura Coons moved to adopt the resolution; Commissioner Dan Borgenheimer seconded and the board approved it unanimously.
