EDA advances $1 million grant application and engineering for Shenandoah Valley Foods processing site
EDA staff said they will apply with the Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission for a $1 million Industrial Revitalization Fund grant for Shenandoah Valley Foods; AWB Engineers has been contracted for final engineering with an expected facility opening in early 2027.

Director Nina Fox told the board the county is working with the Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission to apply for a $1 million Industrial Revitalization Fund grant for Shenandoah Valley Foods. Fox said the grant cycle "is set to open June 1 and close July 31."
