Commissioners approve amendment cutting per-transaction fees in county prescription program
The Vernon County Commission approved an amendment to its Managed Prescription Drug Program agreement that lowers claims adjudication and TPA service fees, effective April 1, 2025. The motion passed unanimously on Sept. 3, 2025.

The Vernon County Commission voted Sept. 3 to approve an amendment to the county's Managed Prescription Drug Program Agreement, originally signed March 10, 2022, that lowers multiple per-transaction fees effective April 1, 2025. Commissioner Cindy Thompson moved to approve the amendment; Commissioner John Shorten seconded and all voted yes.
