Board proclaims April observances for Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Awareness
The Floyd County Board of Supervisors adopted proclamations recognizing Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month; both proclamations were approved unanimously, 3-0.

Renae Harris, vice president of the Child Abuse Prevention Council for Floyd and Mitchell Counties, presented two proclamations to the board recognizing Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Supervisor Frank Rottinghaus moved to adopt the Child Abuse Prevention Month proclamation, seconded by Supervisor Boyd Campbell; the motion carried 3-0.
