Engineer reports progress on AMD, Chub Run and other infrastructure projects

The town engineer provided a multi-item update on Aug. 26. Phase 1 of the AMD project is completing pay-application comments and is expected to be ready for drawdown at the September council meeting. For Phase 2, the engineer reported 20 of 34 right-of-ways are in hand and the project is awaiting an environmental assessment clearance from OSM; the item was described as likely to go out to bid by the end of the year.
Chub Run remains on hold, with a potential Oct. 1 start identified; the engineer presented RPR resumes for discussion and noted that rates were being adjusted to cover debt-service-related level adjustments. Phase IV is waiting on an environmental clearance from DEP for Sandy's Hardware forcemain work. The engineer also noted that Task Order 7 permitting for Nutter Run is complete.
