The Nutter Fort Town Council unanimously approved Thrasher Engineering Task Order #7 for Nutter Run water-line permitting during its Aug. 26, 2025 meeting. Councilor Charlene Louk moved to approve the task order; Councilor Sam Maxson seconded the motion. A roll-call recorded Councilors Rick Lafferty, Karen Phillips, Charlene Louk, Sam Maxson and Shawn Spurlock voting "Yes"; Recorder Natalie Haddix was listed as absent.
