Information-technology staff told the board they plan to acquire a data-classification product available through New York State OGS to tag county files (for example, marking PII and other sensitive categories) after a state audit noted incomplete data classification across departments. Staff said only SKUs were provided by the vendor and that they will return with formal pricing and a bid recommendation.
