County Appraiser Truett McQueen told the Ottawa County commissioners on Dec. 22 that the county should sign a contract with Kimball Mapping; the commission indicated consensus to proceed. McQueen also raised paying mileage for Planning and Zoning board members, prompting Commissioner Carla Grund to ask whether the county needs a policy to treat all boards the same.
No contract dollar amount was recorded in the minutes for the Kimball Mapping item and no formal motion was recorded; the minutes state only that "it was the consensus of the Commission to sign the contract." The matter did not proceed to a formal vote during the Dec. 22 meeting.
