Discover Classical presented its regional role in supporting Dayton-area arts organizations, outreach programs like the Young Talent Search and an instrument drive, and plans for the Robert Smith Performance Studio at a new facility, saying it is "one of a limited number of 24-hour non-commercial classical music stations in the country."

Shaun Yu, president and CEO of Discover Classical, told the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners on June 30 that the station supports area arts groups and is expanding facilities to increase live performance and community engagement.
