Commissioners approve payrolls, claims and several community permissions
At the April 7 meeting the board approved three payrolls and claims totaling $3,897,968.89, granted limited banner permission to Columbus Christian School, authorized state surplus purchases by a county staff member, and approved use of the Medora Covered Bridge for an anniversary meal.

The Jackson County Commission approved multiple routine administrative items at its April 7 meeting. The board approved payrolls dated March 6 ($617,283.00), March 20 ($594,045.50) and April 3 ($594,326.14), and approved claims dated April 7, 2026 in the amount of $3,897,968.89.
