Commission awards Mountain View culvert replacement to low bidder
The Kane County Commission approved a $295,009.47 bid award for the Mountain View culvert replacement project after engineering review; county staff said culverts have been purchased and the engineer vetted a map error before recommending award.

The Kane County Commission voted June 9 to award the Mountain View culvert replacement contract to the low bidder, identified in the meeting as Intelex. Roads director Bert Harris told commissioners the low bid was "$295,009.47" as transcribed and said the county has already purchased the box culverts needed for the work.
