City Operator Bobby Archer presented the December 2025 water and sewer report, telling the Council that an electrical problem at the water plant required him to manually turn on a pump on occasion. He said the problem "was not serious and should be resolved soon." Archer also reported that a large amount of solid waste had been pumped from the wastewater plant tanks and that he continued work to improve effluent quality.
Council received the report and did not take further action at the Jan. 5 meeting. Staff will continue maintenance and troubleshooting to restore automatic operation at the water plant and to address wastewater treatment performance.
