Ordinance No. 20-26 proposes amendments to the city's regulations for walking paths and trails to clarify standards and promote connectivity. Planning/Economic Development Coordinator Pam Fechter told Council there was "nothing additional to add," and the Administration set a second reading for March 23, 2026 and a public hearing for April 13, 2026 at 7:20 p.m.
Council did not raise substantive questions at the work session and took no final action. Staff will present the item again for readings and public comment; the public hearing will be the opportunity for residents to weigh in on the proposed changes.
