Washington County introduces new county litigator, David Schor

Commissioner Duke Dreesen introduced David Schor as a new litigator joining the Washington County counsel's office. Dreesen asked the board to welcome Schor and said staff is "excited to onboard him".
"I'm thrilled to join the county counsel's office," Schor said. "I'll be working closely with Dave and getting up to speed on the matters that you are currently working on and getting ready to handle the tort claims that come in as well." He said he was born and educated in Oregon and that his family recently relocated to Washington County.
The introduction was brief; commissioners exchanged light remarks about local neighborhoods and how the office will keep distinct names for multiple staff with the same first names. No policy action accompanied the hire; the remark served as a personnel update to the board.
