Library board approves three-step fine amnesty excluding lost or damaged items
Trustees approved a three-step amnesty program to help patrons clear outstanding fines (not covering lost or damaged items); director reported $1,024.96 in fines were cleared for patrons who moved or died, leaving more than $13,000 outstanding.

Library Director Lori Romero briefed the board on overdue-account reconciliations and fine-forgiveness options. "That cleared $1024.96 in fines and left over $13,000 in outstanding fines," Romero said, referring to records cleared for patrons who had moved or were deceased.
