Library board approves three-step fine amnesty excluding lost or damaged items

Trustees discussed outreach ideas targeting youth and other patrons. Shadrach Robertson suggested a month of amnesty events to encourage participation. The board voted to "offer a three-step amnesty event, excluding lost or damaged library materials, to help patrons clear fines from their accounts," a motion made by Jaime Brunson and seconded by Diane Hansen that passed without recorded dissent.
