Engineer says revised septic design reduces fill needs; board reserves decision on large fill permit
An engineer representing the owner of 29 Wonderland Drive said revised septic and retaining-wall design reduced required fill for a new home; the board read a neighbor letter alleging extensive unpermitted fill and retained the application to verify permits, fill quantities and retaining-wall engineering before a decision.

The board closed and reserved decision on Appeal 4163 after hearing technical testimony about a proposed import of fill to make a lot buildable. Brian Stacosa of Dane Stacosa Engineering described a redesign that reduced septic footprint and pushed septic higher on the lot to limit the amount of imported material; he said the septic-related fill is "about 1,700 yards" and that other design choices have been made to limit additional import.
