"On the high school program... It's the 1st week of June. It's like June June 1," the presenter said, explaining that graduation-related competition activities fall around that week and that hands-on skills sessions will be scheduled before travel. Members were asked to sign up for July instructor dates (July 16–17) and to check the training packet for reading-smoke information.
Commissioners discussed local student access to digital training materials after the state's move to e-books and asked staff to confirm whether high school Chromebooks will permit access to the required materials. Staff said high school scheduling uses an A–B–C–D block system that, in some districts, provides access slots for students.
