Peekskill schedules Fleischmann Pier grand opening Oct. 13 as dredging study advances

Board members reported that construction work at Fleischmann Pier and Charles Point Park is largely finished and that the city is planning a grand opening. "The construction on Fleischman Pier and Charles Point Park are done. 95% done," a board member said. Another member noted, "I think it's Sunday, October 13," when describing the planned grand-opening date.
